Step by step guide

Maintain Shower Resistant Performance

Always wash your gear at 30° and wash as worn (NOT inside out).

Avoid using fabric conditioners and standard detergents. They may make your clothes smell heavenly, but they damage the performance of the DWR
(durable water repellent finish), stripping the shower resistant coating, which keeps your trousers shower resistant.

Use one cap of Grangers Wash + Repel in every wash, it provides total care to your trousers from thorough cleaning to restoring and maintaining water repellency. 

Activate the DWR in Grangers Wash + Repel, by either drying your trousers on the radiator or tumble dry on a low heat.

If you want to iron your trousers, they must be inside out. We advise against ironing our Aventurite trousers

Maximise the life of your garments

Products which contain Merino Wool like our Socks and Crew Neck Tee, should be hand washed only and laid flat to dry to protect their delicate fibres.

Many of our products have an anti-bacterial coating to help keep you (and your garments) fresher for longer. This includes our Thermal Base Layers and Leggings, our Bamboo Hike Bra and Socks, as well as our Breathe Tee and Vest. This means you can wash them less often, but when it is time for a clean, we advise washing them at 30°C and to avoid using fabric conditioner.
