Find the right jacket for the forecast
Each of our waterproof jackets shows its waterproof rating on the product page, from 10,000mm to 30,000mm. The higher the number, the more rain the fabric holds back, so match the rating to the weather you walk in most. For a lightweight waterproof jacket, look for a style marked lightweight with a waterproof rating beside it. Several of our waterproof jackets have a hood, and on some you can take it off when the sun comes out. Where a jacket is also marked windproof, it does the job of a windbreaker on blustery days and keeps the rain out too.
Light layers for showers and cold days
For drizzle and passing showers, choose a shower resistant jacket with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating, which helps light rain bead off. Packable styles fold away when the weather clears, so you can keep one close at hand for the walk home.
When the temperature drops, an insulated jacket or gilet adds warmth without the weight. Wear one over a base layer on frosty mornings, and when you want your arms free, a sleeveless layer keeps your core warm.

How warm are your jackets?
It depends on the style. Where a jacket or gilet is insulated, you will find its tog rating on the product page, and a higher tog means a warmer layer. On colder walks, add a fleece underneath.
What size should I buy?
Most of our jackets come in sizes UK6 to UK22. Each product page has a size guide with chest, waist and hip measurements. It also shows how tall our model is and the size she wears, so you can compare her height with your own.
Are your jackets made from recycled materials?
Yes, every one uses recycled materials, and each product page shows the blend.
How do I care for my jacket?
Machine wash at 30°C with similar colours. The care guide on most of our jackets and gilets also recommends reproofing with a specialist product, which restores the DWR coating.
