Staycation Locations for your Summer Vacation!

With countless holidays, hen-dos, micro adventures and weekends away cancelled over the past 18 months, we’re all desperate to get out and explore.  But with quarantine rules still firmly in place, it looks like 2021 will be the summer of staycations!

To help you create some special memories, we’ve selected some super cool staycation locations to help you escape, explore and find adventure within your own country.  Some are quirky, some glamourous and others simply offer the wide open spaces and freedom we’re all craving right now.

Sleep in Style Under the Stars

Forest Holiday luxurious cabin retreats are spread across nine idyllic locations ranging from deep forest woodlands to the edge of stunning Lochs to bright forest meadows. Each treehouse cabin comes complete with cosy under-floor heating, towering windows with dramatic views and a private outdoor hot tub. Days can be whiled away watching for birds as they flit from tree to tree, relaxing in the hot tub or exploring the surrounding area.

Sunshine and Surf Seekers

Bournemouth Beach Lodges offer an enchanting overnight stay overlooking beautiful beaches in a tranquil location. The Lodges are located only a few steps away from the sand, so you can grab breakfast, head out for a morning swim and spend the rest of the day sunning yourself.  Each lodge has its own extensively equipped kitchen, toilet, shower room and WIFI. The Beach Lodges are a perfect mix of home comforts and holiday treats wrapped up in your very own seaside space with stunning uninterrupted sea views.

Pawsitively Perfect Getaways

If you’re looking for an eclectic place to stay with your furry best friend, then head to Brandy House Farm in Mid-Wales.  Offering a range of accommodation from upcycled caravans, to holiday cottages, camping pods and traditional B&B rooms, this beautiful farm is the gateway to some of the best hiking, riding and MTB-ing in the country and offers incredible food to refuel you after a day of adventure in the mountains.

 Wild and Free

Wild camping is permitted in Scotland, with some incredible places to pitch your tent or park your van.  These places are definitely for the hardy adventurers who are happy to navigate remote terrains and unpredictable weather.  But for those who dare, the rewards are plenty!

Hemmed in by rugged mountains and ancient Scots pine, Loch Beinn a’ Mheadhoin is a peaceful freshwater loch nestled to the east of Scotland’s loveliest glen, the exceptionally picturesque Glen Affric. Numerous little islands and promontories make for fun adventure swimming, and the many small beaches are perfect for camping. The old tree stumps make hobbit-like seats for sitting around the campfire. To really get away from it all, canoe over to one of the islets and camp there.
