May has been and gone, and I can’t quite believe we’re already halfway through the year!
As ever, my camera roll is full.
One of the highlights this month was attending an event by the Enterprise Vision Awards at the House of Lords. The EVAS focus on female entrepreneurship, so it was incredibly inspiring to be surrounded by women building amazing businesses.

I also had the chance to listen to and speak with Theo Paphitis, one of my favourite Dragons, and it was brilliant to learn from his experience of building businesses.
On that note, I’m so pleased to share that ACAI has made it to the final in the EVAS ‘Brand of the Year’ category. It’s always so special to be recognised, and I’m incredibly proud of Team ACAI for helping drive us forward into such a bright future.
Speaking of the team, there’s a huge amount of work happening behind the scenes right now. It’s been hard to keep quiet, but some truly amazing product is in the works, and when it lands, I promise you, it’s jaw-dropping.
The process of creating new collections is a long one. We work at least 12 months ahead so it’s one of the hardest parts: being so excited about something but not being able to share it just yet. But trust me… brace yourself for next season.
Before that, let’s talk Summer.
We had a little glimpse of it over the half-term break, and it was hot!
I’ve loved spending time on relaxed (well, as relaxed as it gets as a founder!) strolls with the kids. Those early summer evening walks, finished with an ice cream, are some of my favourite simple pleasures. Just gorgeous.
We also headed out over the bank holiday weekend for a walk to the Three Shires Waterfall on the edge of the Peak District. What was meant to be a short, gentle stroll for the kids turned (very much in true Joe and Kasia style) into nearly a 7km hike up some steep hills! Safe to say, little legs were exhausted by the end. But these adventures are so good for them. I always feel they come back a little more resilient after days like that.

To round off the month, I took part in the Great Manchester Run as part of a team fundraising for Smart Works, a charity that supports vulnerable women with coaching, clothing, and confidence to secure interviews and jobs. The atmosphere was incredible, and I felt so proud to be part of it.
Thank you, as always, for supporting ACAI and being part of our community. We truly appreciate your loyalty.
With love,
Kasia
