This month has been so full of good things, I hardly know where to begin.
It all started with the launch of our Spring Summer collection, bursting with colour and energy. Along with the longer, brighter days, it felt like a real shift in mood. I always forget just how much I love this time of year until it arrives. Those early Spring days are so special: the soft, mild air, the smell of freshly cut grass on evening walks… it’s the kind of simple magic that feels like a deep breath after Winter.
We also took the family on a big adventure we’d been planning for a while, a trip to Colorado, US. It was a bit of everything: skiing, hiking, exploring. Very much a self-planned holiday, staying in an Airbnb we managed to book at a much lower rate just after the Spring Break rush which, by the way, is such a great time to visit.
It was one of those trips where most days were spent outdoors, discovering somewhere new: different trails, new views, fresh air every day, with the occasional rest day to recharge. I do love an active holiday, but it definitely keeps you on your toes!
We saw some truly incredible places. Hiking the Hanging Lake and visiting the Garden of the Gods were absolute highlights — honestly two of the most breathtaking sights I’ve ever experienced. There were also road trips, picnics, bike rides… and even a little skiing on what was left of the snow.
Then, as always, we came home and jumped straight back into reality. Within two days, the holiday already felt like a distant memory. But we had something very special to celebrate: our eldest son turning 10.
That milestone feels particularly meaningful, as it also marks 10 years of ACAI. We registered the business just two months before he was born, so in many ways, he’s been part of this journey from the very beginning. It’s a moment that feels really emotional to reflect on, especially remembering just how challenging those early days were.
I finished the month with a couple of wonderful events where I was invited to speak on panels. These moments always mean a lot — being able to share our story and connect with other incredible women. It also makes me reflect on how much the world of entrepreneurship has evolved. I still remember those early days, walking into rooms full of very serious men in suits, with very few women around. Now, being part of spaces that actively champion female entrepreneurship feels like such a shift, and one I feel so much more at home in.

And to round it all off, on the very last day of the month, I celebrated my own birthday, my very first one in my 40s. It felt like a quiet, special moment to pause and take it all in… a month full of memories, milestones, and a new decade beginning.
I hope Spring is treating you kindly so far — that you’re finding moments to get outside, soak it all in, and maybe even carve out a little time for yourself too.
All my love,
Kasia
