A Month of Connection, Community, and Little Wins

This month has been full of moments I’m truly proud of — I hardly know where to begin!

Let’s start with the Outdoorsing walk we did earlier this month to mark World Mental Health Day. I couldn’t stop smiling on the drive home. My heart was so full after spending a few hours hiking up a Welsh hill with a group of incredible women. By the end of the walk, I felt such a genuine connection with everyone there who from now on, I’ll call my friends.

It filled me with pride to see the gorgeous community we’ve built over the years. Partnering with Women in Sport, a charity dedicated to empowering girls and women to be active, made it even more special. Their mission aligns perfectly with ours, inspiring women to spend more time outdoors and I’m proud that ACAI could donate a portion of sales to help fund their vital work.

I’ve always believed in the power of nature and movement for our physical and mental wellbeing. There’s still so much more work that needs to be done to encourage women to prioritise time outside for their health, and it’s a joy to be part of that journey.

In a similar spirit, I also took part in the Padelathlon, raising money for Prevent Breast Cancer, the only UK charity focused solely on early detection and prevention. Another proud moment for ACAI, and I had so much fun playing padel (even though I lost both games quite badly!). It’s safe to say I need a bit more practice!

Another highlight this month was a big business milestone: our first ever sample sale in Harrogate! It was such a success. Seeing so many of you excited about our products reminded me how special this community is and how far we’ve come. I can’t wait for the next one!

On a personal note, it’s been a busy time at home too. My middle son turned six! I’ll be honest, I felt a bit of birthday fatigue after celebrating my daughter’s just last month. I love making their days special, but I was also relieved to tidy up the house and say goodbye to the balloons (for a while, at least!).

I hope you’re enjoying our new collection. It’s our biggest drop to date, with our first-ever fleeces and knitwear! I’ve also loved seeing how much you’re enjoying our jackets. We’re entering this category with real purpose, and as always, your feedback plays a huge role in shaping what’s next.

We work 12 to 18 months in advance, so I have to keep my lips sealed for now… but I promise, the collections ahead are only getting bigger and better.
